The 31st Annual Wheels Of Time Rod & Custom Jamboree
will be held on August 28 - 29 - 30, 2009

We are planning a great show again next year. This will be our 31st year producing this show and we hope everyone enjoys it..

We are happy to be able to continue helping so many local charities and helping many of the local Vo-Tech Automotive Technology graduates further their education with our Scholarship Program. This along with giving all the entrants a great weekend of fun, relaxation and a opportunity to meet with friends is what makes all the time and work worthwhile. If you have never been here, you do not know what you are missing.

The Wheels of Time Annual Rod & Custom Car Jamboree is held every year on the weekend BEFORE Labor Day weekend. This way reservations can be made, vacations taken and all round planning will be easier.

The Rod Run Committee has been busy putting together another fun filled weekend in August. This year’s special feature will be a visit by Dennis Gage from “My Classic Car” and his film crew to film our show on Saturday. So get some clean clothes and a nice hairdo ready to welcome him to our show. If possible, we will try to have everyone in the park rev their engines and blow their horns as a welcoming gesture to one of the best car shows on the East Coast. We are also featuring nostalgia drag cars and some unique customs from the past. Don’t forget that we have raised the qualifying years to 1969 and older that meet our 100 point rule. Our complete schedule of events is posted for you to see what we have going on and when it is going on. Print it out and you can be prepared for a busy weekend with us before you get here.

Let’s pray for good weather and an opportunity to see some old friends. The cars are neat but the goodwill and friendships that have been built over 31 years are neater. See you at the show

“Big Al” Chairman

The cars are the stars of the show, of course.  See over 2250 of the shiniest, most colorful custom cars and street rods on the East Coast. There are games and activities all day, live music in the cool evenings and a heck of a time for kids and parents alike.

The Evening Entertainment for this year's Jamboree is listed on the "schedule of events too.

Wheely fun and exciting things to watch include the "The "Motor Maniac" contest which brings out the most powerful (and loud) engined cars you have ever seen or heard, and of course the famous Wheels of Time "Teeter-Totter".  Watch drivers try to balance their car on a giant teeter totter, moving front and back fractions of an inch at a time to get a perfect balance.  And they only have three minutes in which to do it!

Our flea market and vendor area will probably have anything you need to finish that car of yours.  It may even have items you never thought of using until you saw them there. If it's automotive, you will find it here.  New or old.

For the women, our Arts and Crafts area (adjoining the flea market) has everything from car jewelry to hand painted gourds, with a wide array of items in between.  There is also bingo if you wish to sit and relax and try your luck winning some money.

Great food is available all day and into the evenings from various food vendors in the Food Court to help quench your appetite.

The annual Friday Evening Cruise through the neighboring roads and the towns of Macungie and Emmaus was a fabulous success. More cars than ever participated and I beleive more people than ever watched and enjoyed watching.
We will see you next year and remember the cruise starts at the Allen Organ Showroom parking lot (Not the Middle School) on RT 100 on the north side of Macungie. This is always an event to see.  250 of the entrants cruise to the cheers and applause of thousands of area residents.

From Allen Organ it procedes south on Main St and turn left on Buckeye Rd. Then it turns left on Brookside Drive to Lower Macungie Road. There it turns right onto RT 29 where it turns right and proceeded to North Street where it turns left past the High School onto Harrison Street. It continues to State Road where it turns right and goes through Emmaus to Buckeye Road and then to Main Street in Macungie and back to the park. The cruise forms every year at approximately 6 PM and starts at 6:30 PM. I hope you enjoy watching us as much as we enjoy being there for you.
