Welcome to the Internet Home of The Wheels of Time SRA!
The WOTSRA was started in 1977 in the Lehigh Valley area of
Pennsylvania by a small group of street rodders that had been "Hot
Rodders" back in the years when that term was used. They felt there
was a need for an organization to promote Street Rodding in the Lehigh
Valley.
They started small, meeting in garages of members and gaining members
as time went on. The 3 day Rod & Custom Jamboree (with over 2200 of
the finest modified cars on the East Coast) that takes place each August
in Macungie Memorial Park was originally a one day "Run To The
Grove" in Alburtis, PA. It has grown over the years to the
fantastic show it is today. The club's membership has grown accordingly.
Our membership is over 100 men and women, all with the same ideals and
interests. These ideals are the promotion and development of
"Street Rodding" activities in the Lehigh Valley area and
beyond. Through our efforts we help encourage the development of Street
Rodding and encourage safe and organized Street Rodding wherever we go.
Through this event WOTSRA helps many local charities and also helps
local Vo-Tech students with scholarships to continue their education in
the automotive field. Click on the "Jamboree" button for more
information.
Well, the 30th Anniversary Rod & Custom Car Jamboree is history. It is history that we will remember as a fantastic weekend of beautiful cars, beautiful people and beautiful weather. We had a great time presenting the show for you and we hope all of you had a wonderful time being here.
For 2009 and thereafter, we have raised the car eligibility from 1963 to 1969 and still meeting our 100 point rule. In addition, in recognition of those who support our organization with your pre-registrations, our gran prize program for 2009 will be limited to pre-registered participants only.
2009 is here so get your applications in. We are allowing cars up to 1969 so we will fill up faster than previously. There is an application available from the Jamboree page and the 100 points are there too. Remember what the Dutchman said. "Let's make Macungie!"
We have openings for the 2009 Jamboree. An registration form is available from a link on the Jamboree page. Print it out, fill it out, mail it in. That is all it takes and we will see you in August
2009 Preregistration Confirmations

If you haven’t yet preregistered, remember, you must preregister by July 24th to qualify for the T-shirt, door prizes, goodies and Sunday Grand Prize Drawing.
